The ‘Nature as a Creation’ mini-exhibition by Jelenа Đorđević will be implemented in the Rumenka Cultural Station in cooperation with the Institution for Tapestry Making, lasting from 7 to 16 May.
The official opening ceremony won’t be held due to the epidemiological situation, while the audience will have an opportunity to check out the artworks every workday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., as well as from 5 to 7 p.m. on weekends.
‘Nature as a Creation’ problematises the relationship between a creator and nature, as an inspiration and a starting point for valorisation and revalorisation of the environment, ecology, renewable sources of energy and recycling, sustainability and unsustainability of natural resources. Foreign as well as local artists that cooperated with the ‘Atelje 61’ approached these topics in different aesthetic, ethical, social and creative ways and views.
This installation is part of the programme through which the ‘Atelje 61’ marks its 60th anniversary.
